Overview
The Programme Analyst (Technical Assistance for Social Housing) will support the implementation of a project related to sustainable development of human settlements and policies conducive to adequate housing for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice and support for project activities.
- Coordinate the implementation of the project's work programme.
- Maintain communication with counterparts and local partners.
- Perform technical, administrative, and management activities.
- Provide technical support in areas including capacity building, data management, public policies, project planning, social mobilization, community projects, construction management, project funding, and advocacy.
- Systematize and exchange successful practices and experiences.
- Conduct technical activities to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Attend meetings and conferences.
- Document project-related activities.
- Prepare reports for partners and internal use.
- Participate in missions as requested.
- Complete indicated training activities, including the BSAFE security course.
Required Experience
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience in Architecture and Urbanism, project management, and social housing.
- Experience in the social area and coordinating fieldwork, preferably in the public sector, is desirable.
- Previous experience working in the United Nations is desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism is required.
- Postgraduate degree (Lato Sensu or Stricto Sensu) in Architecture and Urbanism is required, or additional four (4) years of relevant experience to the post, beyond the requirement.
