Overview
The Programme Analyst will support the implementation of a project and its activities, reporting to the Head of Brazil Office. The role involves providing technical and managerial support, coordinating project implementation, and maintaining communication with partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice and support for project activities.
- Provide managerial support and coordinate project work programme implementation.
- Maintain communication with counterparts and local partners.
- Perform technical, administrative, and management activities to ensure project objectives are met.
- Provide technical support for capacity building, data management, public policies, planning, social mobilization, community projects, construction management, project funding, advocacy, monitoring, and partnership.
- Provide information for systematization and exchange of successful practices.
- Conduct technical activities to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met.
- Provide inputs for risk identification and mitigation.
- Attend meetings and conferences.
- Document expert group meetings, forums, consultations, and training events.
- Prepare reports for partners and internal reports.
- Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.
- Participate in missions as requested.
- Complete indicated courses and training activities, including the BSAFE security course.
Required Experience
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in Architecture and Urbanism, Geography, Law, or related fields.
- Experience in project management is required.
- Experience with social housing is desirable.
- Experience in the social area and coordinating fieldwork, preferably in the public sector, is desirable.
- Previous experience working in the United Nations is desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism, Geography, Law, or related fields is required, or additional three (3) years of relevant experience to the post, beyond the requirement.
- Postgraduate degree (Lato Sensu or Stricto Sensu) in Architecture and Urbanism, Geography, Sociology, Law, Social Work, Social Sciences, or related fields is desirable.
