Overview
Provides ethics advice and guidance to management and staff, supports policy implementation, conducts research, and designs/delivers training on ethical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides ethics advice and guidance on ethical issues, including misconduct, conflicts-of-interest, gifts, honors, and remunerations.
- Monitors trends and analyzes root causes of ethical dilemmas.
- Supports implementation and monitoring of the Policy on Outside and Political Activities.
- Conducts organizational, managerial, and legal research.
- Advises staff on the Agency's policy for protection against retaliation and internal grievance mechanisms.
- Designs, develops, and delivers training and outreach on ethical issues.
- Supports the Ethics Focal Points Network.
- Provides support in the Area Staff Declaration of Interest Programme.
- Provides support for coordination of sexual misconduct as required.
Required Experience
• A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in legal practices/ law, corporate compliance, oversight services, organizational ethics, staff misconduct and investigations, employee relations or other related fields is required.
Qualifications
• Advanced university degree from an accredited educational institution in law, public administration, human resources management or a related field.
