Overview
To engage designers to create professional, impactful visual designs for a wide range of UNICEF communication, advocacy, and knowledge products for different audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design of cover pages and layout of major reports and studies.
- Design and layout of leaflets, booklets, roll-up banners, newsletters, and factsheets.
- Creation of infographics for print and online distribution.
- Creation of animated GIFs and short animations for social media and web use.
- Design of full branding packages for events.
- Provision of design services on an hourly basis for minor or urgent tasks.
- Adaptation and reformatting of existing designs.
- Collaboration with writers, photographers, and videographers.
- Ensuring designs adhere to UNICEF style guide and branding guidelines.
- Incorporating feedback and undergoing revisions.
- Delivering final files within specified deadlines.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in graphic design.
- Proven experience working with NGOs, UN agencies, or in the social development sector is desirable.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
- A Diploma in a relevant field with significant experience can be considered in lieu of the degree.
