Overview
Support the Head of Compliance and Operational Risk with identifying and optimizing operational risks and the operational risk management framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Support defining operational risk frameworks, methodologies, and documentation; and oversee implementation.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify, assess, measure, manage, and report on operational risks.
- Support the capture and management of operational risk events, including conducting root-cause analysis and capturing lessons learned.
- Support activities related to crisis management, third-party risk management, operational resilience, and IT risk management.
- Increase the effectiveness of Management’s oversight by analyzing and reporting operational risk information.
- Support the development of systems and tools to support the Compliance and Operational Risk function.
- Consult with multilateral and bilateral partners and AIIB members to improve the Compliance and Operational Risk function.
- Stay informed about the latest applicable external developments, and advise internal stakeholders on their implications and impacts.
- Work with relevant AIIB departments to promote a strong risk culture through relevant training programs.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Head of Compliance and Operational Risk.
Required Experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in an operational risk and/or operational resilience function with a multilateral development or financial institution.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business, or related fields is required.
- A master’s degree in these areas is preferred.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office and other relevant software, such as Tableau and Power BI.
- VBA and other programming skills are required.
