Overview
Support Climate Change, Energy & Environment programme activities focusing on climate policy, climate finance, climate resilience, evidence generation and youth engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and monitoring of the programme and annual workplan.
- Support the development of communication materials, information packages and presentations.
- Write technical papers on climate change, energy & environment activities.
- Support tracking of climate financing opportunities.
- Support in developing policy analysis and briefing notes.
- Conduct field visits to project sites.
- Map climate partnerships.
- Coordinate with Partners and Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination (MOCC&EC) on organising youth engagement activities.
- Promote the programme among different stakeholders, focusing on youth climate activists.
Required Experience
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience required in CEE or related field.
- Experience in conducting research and analysis on climate change/environmental degradation/renewable energy/related field.
- Experience working in Climate change and environment related field with development organization is required.
Qualifications
Master's degree in relevant field related to climate change, water resource management, engineering, DRR, social science, economic development, international cooperation or another relevant technical field affected by climate change is required.
