Overview
The Research Associate will provide research and documentation support to the Director and senior management to enable informed decision-making and effective stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct online research on land restoration, sustainable land management, desertification, and drought.
- Prepare briefing notes for the Director and senior management.
- Develop PowerPoint presentations for meetings and conferences.
- Organize and coordinate meetings.
- Support drafting and editing of official correspondence and reports.
- Maintain a repository of research materials and contact information.
- Provide general research and administrative support.
Required Experience
- A minimum of two years of experience in online research, drafting documents, and preparing presentations is required.
- Experience organizing meetings or events in a professional setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with environmental issues, land restoration, or international development is an asset.
Qualifications
• A Master’s degree in international relations, development studies, environmental policy, communications, or a related field is required.
