Overview
Interns will support the OHCHR Evaluation, Planning and Policy functions in the successful completion of their Work Plan, aimed at instilling a culture of results-based planning, programming and budgeting across OHCHR.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of evaluations in the Evaluation Plan 2026-2027.
- Assist in the drafting and revision of guidance, guidelines, checklists and templates.
- Support the evaluation communication, dissemination and use strategy.
- Assist in the upload, review and correction of evaluation related data.
- Update the repositories of evaluation reports.
- Assist in the revision and maintenance of the database and mailing list of evaluation consultants.
- Assists in the analysis, internal outreach and presentation of data relating to the implementation of the OHCHR Management Plan (OMP) 2024-2027 and projects.
- Assist in the quality assurance of OHCHR’s work plans, country programmes, projects and related reports.
- Assist in the monitoring processes of the office at mid-year and end of year.
- Assist in the implementation of existing and new processes for the review and approval of OHCHR’s planning documents.
- Assist in the management of the Community of Practice “From Vision to Results”.
- Support the organization of events and meetings.
- Support the dissemination and implementation of guidance on governance documents.
- Assist in the implementation of revised processes for development, review and approval of governance documents.
- Support the quality check of governance documents.
- Assist in compilation, review, and updating of the database of existing governance documents.
- Assist in updating the intranet and monitor the revised decision-tracking system.
- Support the implementation of the Organizational Effectiveness Action Plans (OEAPs).
- Assist in the preparation and organization of workshops and initiatives.
- Other tasks as directed by the supervisors.
Required Experience
Applicants are not required to have previous work experience.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a second university degree, equivalent, or higher; (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree (bachelor's degree or equivalent).
