Overview
Coordinate and operationalize the LANTERN project in the Eastern Province, supporting effective implementation, monitoring, and institutional capacity building.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and operationalize the LANTERN project in the Eastern Province.
- Support the PIU on timely submission of progress reports and data entry.
- Coordinate and facilitate field-level external assessments, advocacy, knowledge sharing, training, audits, and donor missions.
- Review agreements/proposals, track project resource use, and follow up on progress.
- Network and mobilize stakeholder/community involvement.
- Support the formulation of M&E plans and data collection/analysis.
- Support in the design, pilot, and roll out of simplified/innovative monitoring tools.
- Assist with the synthesis of lessons learned and best practices.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation and submit supporting documents for payments.
- Liaison work between the Project Office and PIU operations team.
- Ensure timely and smooth implementation of project logistics.
- Maintain administrative records and provide support for meetings, conferences, workshops, and training programmes.
- Maintain good rapport with Government Offices and other partners.
- Custodian for management of office stationery supplies.
Required Experience
7 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in International Development, Peace and Conflict Studies, International Relations, Sociology, Project Management or any other related social science discipline.
Or
- Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Peace and Conflict Studies, International Relations, Sociology, Project Management or any other related social science discipline with at least 09 years of work experience working directly on the implementation of development projects.
