Overview

Assists in the coordination of programme/project planning and preparation, monitors project status, and compiles and summarizes programme/project data. Serves as a focal point for administrative coordination of programme/project implementation activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assists in the coordination of programme/project planning and preparation.
  • Monitors status of programme/project proposals and receipt of relevant documentation.
  • Compiles, summarizes, and presents basic information/data on specific programmes/project.
  • Reviews project documents, especially cost plans/budgets, for completeness and compliance.
  • Verifies data and reporting for relevant budget documentation.
  • Serves as focal point for administrative coordination of programme/project implementation activities.
  • Compiles, summarizes and enters data on project delivery.
  • Drafts correspondence on budget-related issues and prepares and updates periodic reports.
  • Provides general office assistance for PADROS teams and the section chief.
  • Provides guidance/training to new/junior staff.
  • Assists with the collection and analysis of data as well as preparation of data presentations and reports.
  • Assists with visualizations and updating information material such as web pages or brochures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Experience

A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in general office support, programme or project administration, technical cooperation or related area is required. Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is required. Experience in generating visualizations on trends, particular related to funding, is required. Work experience in an international organization or within the United Nations system is desirable. Experience in working with a recruitment system (e.g. inspira) is desirable. Experience with SAP/Umoja (travel and requisitioning, budget) is desirable.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
