Overview

The Upstream and Investment Manager will be responsible for IFC’s efforts to enable investment opportunities, enhance investment outcomes, and improve investment conditions in the Asia and Pacific region.


Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate the unit’s strategy for Industry’s sectors across the region.
  • Engage with and establish partnerships with thought leaders and decision makers.
  • Proactively convene stakeholders, form partnerships, and connect expertise.
  • Manage Upstream Operations, ensuring high quality and appropriate staffing.
  • Enable investment opportunities by incubating high-impact projects and preparing clients.
  • Enhance investment outcomes by increasing development impact and improving portfolio performance.
  • Execute Investment Operations, supporting business development and providing guidance.
  • Manage funding resources effectively and collaborate with the Partnerships department.
  • Spot game-changing trends and disseminate knowledge and experience.
  • Build external brand recognition for IFC’s distinctive capabilities.
Required Experience

A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business or Finance.
