Overview

Support the development, adaptation, and organization of information, education and communication (IEC) materials related to safe migration, and the prevention of smuggling of migrants and trafficking in persons. Assist in the organization and logistical preparation of community outreach, awareness-raising, and public communications activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development, adaptation, and organization of information, education and communication (IEC) materials related to safe migration, and the prevention of smuggling of migrants and trafficking in persons.
  • Assist in the organization and logistical preparation of community outreach, awareness-raising, and public communications activities in Bangkok and selected provinces.
  • Assist the project team with information management and storytelling of the project, including maintaining attendance lists, photo documentation, and activity records.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Required Experience
  • Less than two years of relevant working experience.
  • Working for non-governmental organizations, international governmental organizations or government institutions;
  • Working on the protection and assistance of vulnerable migrant populations;
  • Counter-trafficking interventions will be considered an asset;
  • Working in a multi-cultural environment and demonstrated capacity to respect diversity.
Qualifications

Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated (within the last 12 months) from, a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in communications, social sciences, international relations, law, development studies, migration studies, or a related field.
