Overview

The incumbent executes activities pertaining to policies and procedures, staffing accountability and administration, and in/out processing of HQ military personnel.


Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to and assist in the execution of policies and procedures relating to staffing accountability and administration.
  • Organise feedback and review sessions with HQ BSG POCs and National Support Elements POCs involved in the in/out processing of personnel.
  • Report to the Branch Head any new requirements relating to staffing accountability and administration that require further consideration by SHAPE HRDS.
  • Assist with the in/out processing of HQ military personnel and support the personnel accountability process.
  • Conduct staffing availability audits using assigned human resource databases/systems to track, verify, and improve the quality of data held within those systems.
  • Participate in exercises and establish staffing spreadsheets/databases for elements involved in such activities.
  • During Exercises/Missions support the MILP Bh as required (e.g. support to CJOC).
  • Assist in staffing and workforce related activities in coordination with Senior National Representatives (S N R).
  • Undertake duties as part of a project team or working group, as directed or assigned.
  • Perform a similar range of duties at the same professional level.
  • The incumbent may be required to perform like duties elsewhere within the organization as directed.
  • The incumbent is required to undertake operation deployments and / or TDY assignments both within and without NATO's boundaries.
Required Experience
  • 2 years function related experience with University Degree in human resources management, business administration, law, social sciences, or related field, public administration or related discipline.
  • 3 years post related experience with Higher Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training in that discipline leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation.
  • Work experience with software and databases for the administration of personnel.
  • Prior experience with in/out processing of personnel, preferably military staff.
  • Experience in a multinational/international environment.
Qualifications
  • University Degree in human resources management, business administration, law, social sciences, or related field, public administration or related discipline.
  • Higher Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training in that discipline leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation.

• Must have an English Standard Language Proficiency level in Listening Speaking, Reading, and Writing (SLP 3333 based on NATO standards) • Host Nation Language is required.
