Overview
Responsible for the Court's digital presence, including the website and social media channels, to increase the Court's digital footprint and online presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Guides the ICJ's digital web strategy.
- Coordinates website development and maintenance.
- Drafts, proofreads, and uploads web content.
- Oversees creation of new website pages and sections.
- Monitors and analyses site usage statistics.
- Develops partner relationships for digital engagement.
- Acts as focal point for website ICT issues and provides training.
- Guides social media strategy development and implementation.
- Oversees daily management of social media channels.
- Creates and oversees production of social media content.
- Designs social media campaigns.
- Collaborates to identify social media coverage opportunities.
- Maintains the Court's editorial calendar.
- Elaborates and updates social media policies and guidelines.
- Provides social media analysis and reports.
- Manages relationships with external vendors for digital products.
- Serves as primary focal point for branding guidelines.
- Supports design and production of public information products and tools.
- Performs other duties as required.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in public information, journalism, marketing, graphic design or a related area is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience managing digital channels (website and/or social media) in a professional context is required.
- Experience monitoring and evaluating the impact of web and social media content/data analytics is required.
- Experience working with hosting platforms, enterprise technologies, web applications and search engine optimization is required.
- Experience delivering digital campaigns, including advocacy and engagement is desirable.
- Experience managing multilingual content is desirable.
- Experience in an international environment is desirable.
- Experience working on Customer Experience (CX), User Experience (UX) and Customer Journey Maps is desirable.
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite products or similar is desirable.
Qualifications
An advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in communications, journalism, marketing, advertising, graphic design, web development, computer science, information technology or a related field is required. A first-level degree (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in the specified fields of studies with two additional years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
