Overview
The role involves assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Security Service, contributing to the design, configuration, development, and maintenance of security systems, and resolving incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing the architecture of various components of the security system, including cabling, network, server, and application systems.
- Overseeing and ensuring the continuity of security IT systems.
- Supervising and administering video surveillance and access control application systems and associated databases.
- Ensuring the continued operation of all security equipment and solutions.
- Preparing and optimising associated wiring diagrams.
- Drawing up technical and functional specifications.
- Analysing companies' proposals and taking part in the procurement procedure.
- Coordinating the implementation of work and end-of-project deliveries.
- Overseeing the monitoring of maintenance services.
Required Experience
A minimum of seven years' proven technical experience in the areas referred to above, and a proven ability to manage technical, IT and programming projects. Management experience, including with subcontractors from outside companies. Specific experience in managing intruder detection/prevention projects would be an advantage.
Qualifications
A secondary or post-secondary qualification would be an advantage. Qualifications or training in the relevant fields would be an advantage.
