Overview
To plan, execute and analyze procurement activities to maximize the efficiency of procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform administrative procurement activities.
- Compile data, prepare and distribute documents for procurement programs.
- Review, record and prioritise purchasing requests.
- Coordinate and monitor the delivery of procurement requisitions.
- Research, collate and present information.
- Update, manage and maintain relevant databases and records.
- Liaise with internal counterparts.
- Provide technical support and/or allocate work to other support staff.
- Follow standard emergency preparedness practices.
Required Experience
- At least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of procurement, supply chain or relevant similar administrative experience within the humanitarian sector.
- Experience working on procurement activities.
- Experience conducting analyses and developing reports.
- Experience working with suppliers or other third party on day to day basis
Qualifications
Completion of secondary school education. University degree in the field of Supply chain, business management or finance is a plus.
