Overview
The Investment Officer will provide technical support and coordination in processing ADB's private sector investments and technical assistance in Uzbekistan and other Central and West Asian countries. The role also involves assisting in the identification, development, implementation, and administration of private sector infrastructure financing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist and participate in the identification, development and processing of projects, undertaking due diligence, risk analysis and mitigation.
- Independently apply proper risk management in projects.
- Contribute to credit and financial due diligence by developing financial models and assessing risk and credit profiles.
- Review and analyze financial statements and projections, performing sensitivity analysis and stress testing.
- Participate in due diligence missions and provide technical support.
- Undertake industry and country research for transaction risk assessment.
- Prepare initial Concept and Final Review Forms, project document summaries, and risk assessment analyses.
- Engage with the Office of Risk Management and Safeguards Specialists.
- Prepare presentation materials.
- Oversee documentation and maintenance of credit files.
- Contribute to the development of policy and strategies for ADB's developmental goals.
- Assist in developing a pipeline of private sector infrastructure projects.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Required Experience
At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in preferably in project finance or corporate finance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting, preferably with advance training.
