National consultant to support the evaluation of UNICEF Moldova's contributions to the acquisition of transferable skills among young people.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support data collection for the Republic of Moldova country evaluation.
  • Transcribe documents and data collection tools.
  • Schedule interviews with key stakeholders.
  • Interpret interviews.
  • Contextualize emerging findings.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in evaluation exercises.
  • Evidence of thematic experience in education.
  • Expertise with qualitative data collection and analyses, including semi-structured interviews; focus group discussions; and innovative data collection methods.
  • Proven experience in or with the Moldovan education system.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a team.
Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field of social sciences, with an advantage for degrees or major emphases in education, public policy, economics, evaluation, or related evidence fields.

Languages Required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Romanian and Russian. • Working knowledge of English is required.
Languages Preferred
• Understanding UNICEF’s education programmes and priorities would be a strong asset.
