Overview

This role provides technical and coordination support for the ASSET/FAST Initiative in Asia, focusing on policy processes, market engagement, capacity-building, and knowledge products related to sustainable finance and human rights.


Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate preparation and consolidation of technical inputs on Thailand’s draft mHRDD law.
  • Support analytical work and drafting of technical inputs for Indonesia on mHRDD.
  • Coordinate stakeholder mapping and engagement of private-sector actors.
  • Coordinate planning and delivery of awareness-raising sessions on mHRDD.
  • Coordinate with stock exchanges on guidance for listed companies.
  • Coordinate design and delivery of training for investors and businesses on HRDD.
  • Support development of tools and methodologies for social safeguards and responsible finance.
  • Contribute to capacity-building activities on social risks and disclosures.
  • Develop technical guidance on forced labour and inclusive finance.
  • Coordinate webinars and roundtables.
  • Support operational and administrative tasks of the FAST Initiative.
  • Share expertise on platforms like LinkedIn and Viva Engage.
  • Maintain trackers, meeting notes, contact lists, and follow-ups.
  • Support resource mobilization and donor reporting inputs.
Required Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years (with master’s degree) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience as a project coordinator related to sustainable finance, business and human rights policies and programmes.
  • Experience working with national governments.
  • Experience working with the private sector.
  • Professional experience with research and analysis is desirable.
  • Professional experience in international and sustainable development is desirable.
  • Previous working experience with Asian financial sector or government on finance/development is desirable.
  • Professional experience with Asia regional issues related to modern slavery and human trafficking is desirable.
  • Professional experience with the United Nations or similar International Organizations is desirable.
Qualifications
  • Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, International Relations, Social Sciences, or related fields is required.
  • OR A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the above-mentioned fields of study, in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience.

• Knowledge of Thai, Malay, or Indonesian is desirable.
