Overview
Support the production of communication materials and adapt global communication materials into Chinese versions. Track media coverage and support advocacy campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the production of communication materials (videos & graphics) appealing to young audience
- Adapt UNICEF’s global communication materials into Chinese versions that suit the local context
- Support in-house photo/video shooting and editing
- Support focus group discussions with children and young people before publishing as needed
- Track the coverage of UNICEF and issues related to children in the media and social media
- Support the management of UNICEF’s visual image archives and write photo captions
- Support the planning and content development of UNICEF’s advocacy campaigns and World Children’s Day event
- Provide professional support on other aspects of communication as required
Required Experience
- Have strong capacity and prior experience in video shooting and editing
- Skilled in Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro
- Be social media savvy and able to produce social media friendly content
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in a degree programme in an undergraduate (above 18 years old) or postgraduate study, majored in Film/Multimedia Production, Communication, Journalism or related fields
- Have strong academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records, or, if not available, a reference letter from an academic supervisor
