Overview

Provide hands-on support in managing and coordinating Digital Impact initiatives, spanning both Digital Public Goods and engagement platforms. The role supports the practical implementation of technology-enabled solutions that strengthen systems, elevate youth participation, and translate data and digital innovation into measurable impact for children.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day operational support for the management and coordination of RapidPro, Inform, and other Digital Impact solutions.
  • Carry out data preparation and ingestion, analysis, and visualisation.
  • Assist in connecting quantitative trends with qualitative insights.
  • Support the development of presentations, briefs, simple dashboards, and analytical summaries.
  • Support coordination activities related to the deployment and use of Digital Public Goods.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining user lists, content workflows and secure data handling.
  • Compile and synthesize user requirements and lessons learned.
  • Lead in answering queries from the public or stakeholders on the platforms.
  • Serve as a first point of contact in responding to queries from the public or stakeholders related to digital platforms.
  • Support engagement with internal teams and external partners.
  • Help document use cases, lessons learned, and digital offers.
  • Support recruitment of new U-Reporters through outreach events and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with partners to support on-ground event management.
  • Assist in developing outreach materials and tracking recruitment progress.
  • Assist in landscape scanning and desk research on local AI ecosystems and use cases.
  • Support the development of concept notes on responsible and ethical AI use.
  • Assist in documenting potential AI use cases.
  • Support coordination across teams, ensuring clear communication.
  • Assist in preparing meeting notes, summaries, and follow-up actions.
  • Ensure outputs comply with UNICEF branding, data protection, responsible data and ethical standards.
  • Carry out other related tasks and participate in skills development activities.
Required Experience
  • Intermediate data-literacy, with the ability to process, clean, and organise datasets and conduct analysis and visualization.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing on-ground activities, including outreach events, roadshows, workshops, and user engagement sessions.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a multi-cultural team.
  • Comfortable working with digital platforms and learning new skills quickly.
  • Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts (Desirable).
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in/recently graduated (within the past 2 years) from a graduate (Master’s) or undergraduate (Bachelor’s) degree in the areas of International Development, Communications, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Journalism, or other relevant Social Science fields.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records.
  • Basic understanding or strong interest in digital public goods, data systems, and foundations of AI.
