Overview

The Internship Position offers current students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with UNICEF and support real-time programme implementation and management within the Social Policy section. The role provides experiential learning to support professional and personal development.


Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of reports and documentation utilizing data for improved social protection coverage for children.
  • Help manage and coordinate technical support around social protection, public finance, and governance.
  • Support effective and efficient planning, management, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of the section’s programmes.
  • Regularly monitor program consistency and data quality.
  • Prepare and present data-driven reports to support project reporting.
  • Provide timely and accurate data insights to inform programme initiatives.
  • Manage the schedule of meetings with government partners and provide logistics support.
Required Experience

No previous experience is required. Possessing previous experience in programme support and management will be an asset.

Qualifications

A current Nigerian student at 200 level or above of a first university degree programme in any of the following faculties/departments: Social Sciences, Administration, Public Policy, or a related field. Have strong academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records or, if not available, a reference letter from an academic supervisor.
