Overview
Provide technical support and coordination in the processing of ADB's private sector investments and technical assistance, including the identification, development, implementation and administration of private sector infrastructure financing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the identification, development and processing of projects including undertaking due diligence, risk analysis and mitigation.
- Undertake the implementation and administration of private sector infrastructure programs and projects.
- Lead credit and financial due diligence by developing financial models and assessing risk.
- Analyze financial statements and financial projections/models.
- Lead due diligence missions and provide technical support in negotiations.
- Negotiate with project developers, sponsors, and financiers.
- Represent ADB in transactions with external advisors.
- Lead sector and country research for transaction risk assessment.
- Collaborate with risk management and safeguards specialists.
- Prepare presentation materials for Investment Committee meetings.
- Facilitate discussion with potential private sector sponsors.
- Contribute to the development of policy and strategies for ADB's private sector goals.
- Contribute to developing a pipeline of private sector infrastructure projects.
- Provide assistance in project administration, including participating in review missions and supervising disbursements.
Required Experience
- At least 8 years of work experience, preferably in project finance or corporate finance.
- At least 4 years of supervisory experience.
- Proven ability to undertake research and analysis on difficult but well-defined tasks.
- Two years of relevant experience outside ADB within the past five years is required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Management or finance; preferably with Master's degree or equivalent.
