Overview
Provides support to coordination, technical inputs, advocacy, event planning, donor reporting, and knowledge management processes linked to youth engagement, Social and Behaviour Change, and food systems priorities, contributing to nutrition programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the advancement of youth-led initiatives and advocacy processes across Latin America and the Caribbean.
- Contribute to the development and adaptation of technical inputs, practical guidance, and tools.
- Support the preparation, consolidation, and follow-up of donor reporting processes.
- Support collaboration and information exchange with Country Offices, youth networks, civil society, academia, UN agencies, and development partners.
- Support the planning and organization of technical meetings, workshops, exchanges, and dissemination events.
- Contribute to knowledge management and dissemination processes.
- Provide programmatic support to UNICEF’s food systems and nutrition priorities.
- Support and participate in country missions.
Required Experience
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience at national and/or international levels in development programmes, such as supporting programme implementation, coordination, and / or partnerships.
- Proven experience supporting coordination processes at country level in Latin America and the Caribbean, engaging with government counterparts, UN agencies, academia, civil society organizations, youth networks, and / or development partners.
- Demonstrated professional experience in youth engagement and advocacy processes, including collaboration with youth networks, civil society organizations, or youth-led initiatives, is required.
- Proven experience contributing to programme implementation support, documentation, knowledge management, dissemination processes, and/or donor reporting is required.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, International Relations, Public Policy, Communications, Public Health, or a related field.
