Overview
The internship provides supporting functions to the EDCI Executive Office by undertaking external engagement and communication support, and assisting in various preparation and coordination tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking external engagement and communication support to the Executive Office
- Assisting in the preparation of communication collateral and presentation materials
- Assisting in event organization, liaising with participants, and meeting taking
- Assisting in the preparation of briefing notes, official letters, and talking points
- Assisting in the preparation of reports
- Assisting in the preparation of management visits and coordination
- Assisting in background research for policy documents
- Carrying out any other duty assigned by the supervisor
Required Experience
• Work experience in an office setting or an international organization will be considered an asset.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in, or have graduated from, a post-secondary accredited academic institution within the past one year on the date of submission of their application with a Degree in Administrative Studies, Political Science, International Relations or Law, Information Systems, Computer Science.
- Knowledge of strategic studies, computer science, information systems, and technology would be considered as an advantage.
