Overview
Provides direct support and case management to vulnerable individuals, including women and girls, as part of the protection team in Bekaa Governorate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and care to vulnerable women and adolescent girls through community-based activities.
- Deliver survivor-centered case management services, including basic counseling, psychosocial support, needs assessment, safety and action plan development, implementation, follow-up, referrals, and case closure.
- Provide Emergency Cash Assistance (ECA) when applicable.
- Facilitate age-appropriate and specialized support for adolescent girls.
- Organize, facilitate, and monitor psychosocial activities tailored to women and adolescent girls.
- Mobilize and register participants for structured psychosocial activities.
- Facilitate support groups and structured group sessions.
- Create support group plans and conduct evaluations.
- Ensure inclusivity and accessibility of all activities.
- Support the maintenance of the IRC’s case management system and relevant Information Management Systems (GBVIMS).
- Complete the case management quality assessment tool monthly.
- Support tracking of mobile activities’ beneficiaries.
- Participate in weekly reporting and planning meetings.
Required Experience
- At least six months of counseling experience with issues relating to violence against women and girls, child protection, gender and development, or social change.
- Clear understanding of gender inequality, child protection principles, and broader protection concerns.
