The Adolescent Development Officer plays a key convening role, working across ministries and sectors to strengthen integrated approaches to adolescent development. The Officer builds and sustains strategic linkages with government institutions and partners, facilitates coordination among stakeholders, and contributes to shaping the strategic direction of the adolescent development agenda.
A minimum of two years of professional experience in social development planning and management in adolescent development related areas is required. Experience of leading a programme, and providing strategic oversight. Experience of working with different ministries establishing cross sector linkages is desired and playing a conveying role. Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.
Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Anthropology, Education, Psychology, Sociology, Projects Evaluation and Management, Development Studies, Strategic Management.
