Overview
The internship will support the Programme Support Unit (PSU) in administrative, communication, and logistical functions to ensure the smooth running of operations and the implementation of quality programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, format, and proofread official correspondence.
- Manage and file correspondence, reports, and calendars.
- Draft and adapt communications for the Chief of Mission.
- Support the preparation of meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up notes.
- Contribute to the development of PowerPoint presentations and fact sheets.
- Support the organization of monitoring and evaluation surveys.
- Contribute to the development of M&E tools and data analysis.
- Participate in drafting programme documents, donor reports, and project proposals.
- Support fundraising opportunity research and donor liaison.
- Support the logistical organization of donor visits, workshops, and meetings.
- Update and maintain programme databases and shared platforms.
- Support the preparation of synthesis notes and newsletters.
- Provide general administrative support to the Chief of Mission.
- Execute any other assigned tasks.
Required Experience
- Previous internship or administrative, communication, or programme management support experience in an international, governmental, or NGO context is an asset.
- Good command of official correspondence drafting, filing system management, logistical support for events, or contribution to programme documentation is considered an advantage.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in international relations, business administration, communication, project management, or a related field;
- or be enrolled in a Master's programme in similar disciplines;
- or have obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree within the last twelve (12) months prior to the internship start date.
