Overview

The ICT Associate is responsible for overseeing the implementation of ICT policies and standards, providing ICT and administrative support services, and offering daily technical support to users of information management tools and technology infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee implementation of ICT management systems and strategies, ensuring compliance with corporate information management and technology standards.
  • Provide support to the use of Atlas functionality for improved business results and client services.
  • Advise on CO administrative business processes mapping and implementation of internal standard operating procedures.
  • Prepare a results-oriented work plan.
  • Ensure effective functioning of CO hardware and software packages, including changing hardware components and routine repairs.
  • Manage installation of commercial and in-house developed software and related upgrades.
  • Ensure upgrading of patch and anti-virus programmes on a timely basis.
  • Monitor file server traffic, usage, and performance.
  • Supervise provision of support to users in backing up and restoring files, and in virus detection, removal, and prevention.
  • Manage outsourcing, undertake preliminary negotiations on IT-related contracts, and monitor vendor performance.
Required Experience

Three years of progressively responsible professional experience in ICT in a public or private sector organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field.
