Overview
The ICT Assistant will provide operational, technical, and procedural support for computer and related equipment, as well as end-user services, for the office's Information Communications Technology systems and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure UNICEF laptops for operational use
- Configure printers and computer related peripherals for operational use
- Maintain inventory of all hardware/network/telecom equipment
- Provide support and guidance to users
- Support implementation of ICT initiatives including migration projects, rollout of new installations, upgrades of hardware, software and operating systems
- Assist in training UNICEF staff on new systems introduced to the organization
- Provide on-the-job training to staff on the effective use of desktop applications
- Provide on-the-job guidance to staff on the effective use of ICT peripherals and communication devices
- Perform any additional assignments as requested by the supervisor
Required Experience
• At least 1 month of professional experience in IT, or related areas.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information and Communications Technologies
