Provides technical, operational, and administrative assistance throughout the WASH programming process. Prepares, manages, and implements tasks related to the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of WASH output results.
A minimum of two years of professional work experience in WASH-related programmes for developing countries is required. In addition, experience in implementation of drinking water supplies, WASH in institutions (Schools and Health care facilities), community water and sanitation services and climate-resilient WASH programming (including climate risk assessment, infrastructure design, construction management and monitoring) will be required. Strong skills in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, Programme Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Infrastructure Design, and Construction Management are essential for this role. Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
A university degree (bachelor) in one of the following fields is required: civil engineering, water engineering, sanitary and environmental engineering, or water resource management, hydrology and any other relevant technical field. Additional relevant post-graduate courses/degrees that complement/supplement the main degree are a strong asset.
