Overview

Support the coordination and implementation of programme activities related to inclusive value chain development under the Market-Led Inclusive Value Chain Development Programme.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support planning, coordination, and implementation of programme activities across selected value chains and geographies.
  • Assist in coordination with government departments, State Rural Livelihood Missions (SRLMs), private sector partners, producer organisations, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Support organisation of programme meetings, consultations, workshops, training programmes, and stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Assist in monitoring programme progress, maintaining trackers, compiling data, and supporting preparation of periodic progress reports.
  • Support documentation of best practices, case studies, and lessons learned.
  • Provide coordination and logistical support to programme teams and partners.
  • Support knowledge management and information sharing across programme stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Required Experience
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional or academic experience in programme coordination, livelihoods, rural development, value chain development, or related areas.
  • Experience supporting implementation of development programmes involving government agencies, civil society organisations, or private sector stakeholders is desirable.
  • Familiarity with livelihoods programmes, producer collectives, SHGs, or value chain development initiatives is an asset.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Rural Development, Economics, Business Administration, Agriculture / Agribusiness, Development Studies, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or other related fields relevant to livelihoods, value chains, or development programmes.

Remuneration
• Monthly Voluntary Living Allowance (VLA): INR 56,126.69 • Entry lump sum (one-time payment): USD 350 (equivalent in INR) • Relocation costs: $175 at beginning and end of assignment if duty station is outside of commuting distance (as determined by UNV) • Exit allowance (paid on successful completion of the assignment): USD 120 for each month served, paid on completion of contract • Insurance: Comprehensive coverage for health, life and malicious acts • Annual leave: 2.5 days per month • Learning: Access to UNV's learning and career development resources
