Overview

Support the deployment of incubation programs for green entrepreneurs and conduct market research for market development activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the deployment of incubation programs for green entrepreneurs, including participating in calls, drafting minutes, preparing briefing notes, and assisting with program coordination.
  • Conduct market and scoping research for intervention regions, sectors, and stakeholders in French-speaking countries.
  • Contribute research and analyses for developing modules on specific topics such as carbon markets, PES, and finance literacy.
  • Coordinate with regional teams and local executing entities in Francophone countries.
  • Translate and adapt program materials, communications, and reports between English and French.
  • Participate in internal meetings and assist in preparing report documents and communication resources.
  • Carry out other duties on a needs basis.
Qualifications
  • Enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
  • Enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
  • Encouraged to have a degree/background in International Relations, Geography, Environmental Science, Energy Policy, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline focusing on climate change, sustainable development, and/or international environmental governance.

Remuneration
Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
