Overview
This internship focuses on supporting fundraising and market research within the United Nations Environment Programme's Climate Finance Unit. The role involves assisting with resource mobilization, donor engagement, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in monitoring calls for proposals and funding opportunities.
- Assist in drafting concept notes and proposals.
- Conduct market research and competitive landscape analysis.
- Support the preparation of pitch decks and presentations for donor engagement.
- Assist in compiling data and impact narratives for fundraising documents.
- Support coordination efforts with other units.
- Participate in internal meetings and assist in preparing report documents.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
- Enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
- Encouraged to have a degree/background in International Relations, Geography, Environmental Science, Energy Policy, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline focusing on climate change, sustainable development, and/or international environmental governance.
