Overview
Interns will support projects and operations by assisting with communications, event planning, documentation, translation, and knowledge management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and translation of press releases, statements, and briefs.
- Assist in planning and executing events and consultations.
- Provide written translation (English, Uzbek).
- Assist in preparing substantive documentation and conducting research.
- Maintain document flow and filing within the Unit.
- Search, gather, and maintain best practices.
- Support knowledge management systems and tools.
- Assist with general information and database management tasks.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and briefing materials.
- Draft routine official correspondence.
- Support travel and logistics arrangements.
- Aid in maintaining inventory and asset management logs.
- Provide basic day-to-day IT support.
- Assist in setting up, testing, and managing audio-visual equipment and virtual meeting platforms.
- Support the installation, configuration, and updating of standard office software and applications.
- Assist in maintaining the IT equipment inventory.
Required Experience
Demonstrated interest and/or experience in project management, operations procedures (Admin, ICT) or other related fields are welcomed, but not required.
Qualifications
- Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent) in international relations, economy, law, finance, communications, ICT or other related fields;
- be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher);
- Have graduated with a university degree (as defined in (a) and (b) above) and, if selected, must start the internship within one-year of graduation
