Overview

The World Health Organization’s Division of Pacific Technical Support (WHO-DPS) is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Monitoring and Evaluation and Data Analyst TB Officer in Fiji. The role will provide technical and administrative support to TB control programs and projects.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of data collection methods and verify data.
  • Provide key inputs for quarterly and annual reports, work plans, monitoring reports, and evaluative assessments.
  • Perform data entry and quality assurance in information management systems.
  • Develop tools and templates to support programmatic activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for data collection, management, and communication.
  • Manage data collection and verification activities.
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyse data, including contributions to the Global TB Report.
  • Assist in reviewing and providing feedback on work plan implementation and results achieved.
  • Assist in ensuring full implementation of monitoring and evaluation plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation, data management and analysis, or a similar role in public health or a related project.
  • Proficiency in data management software (Excel) or statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, STATA).
  • Demonstrated track record in developing M&E frameworks, reports, and presentations for stakeholders (desirable).
  • Previous work experience within a TB program or similar public health initiative (desirable).
Qualifications
  • Essential: A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Public Health, health sciences, Project Management or a related field.
  • Desirable: Advanced degree (Master’s) in Statistics, Public Health, health sciences, Project Management or a related field.

Fluency in the English language.
Languages Preferred
Fluency in the iTaukei language is an asset.
Contract Duration
7 months initially, with potential extension.

Remuneration
Salary for this role will start from FJD 32,999.24 to FJD 53,034.50, based on qualifications and experience.
