Overview

Provides coordination support to UNEP’s Sustainable Investments Unit, contributing to programme coordination, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of project activities for the Digital Demand Driven Electricity Networks Initiative (3DEN).


Key Responsibilities
  • Partner and stakeholder engagement, including communication and relationship management.
  • Donor engagement for 3DEN-related activities, including preparation of materials and project reporting.
  • Communications, event management, and outreach for 3DEN pilot projects, including content development and implementation.
  • Development and engagement to develop the 3DEN Community, including supporting the 3DEN matchmaking and knowledge management platform.
  • Support the development of the 3DEN Finance Facility.
  • Development of new project concepts and drafting of proposals.
  • Fundraising and strategic donor mapping and engagement.
  • Data collection, analysis and reporting.
  • Support the Unit Head in hiring activities, including coordinating with the Admin. team, coordinating interviews, shortlisting candidates and supporting the onboarding of new consultants and interns.
Required Experience

Prior experience working in project management and coordination support for climate finance mitigation related activities would be considered an asset. Prior experience working with UN agencies with a focus on climate change and finance are desirable.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or equivalent) in Environmental Policy, Economics, Political Science, Business Administration, Development, or a related field.
