Overview
The Programme Management and Communications Assistant will support the implementation and scaling of the 3DEN initiative by contributing to programme coordination, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of project activities. The role also involves supporting public outreach, communications, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support partner and stakeholder engagement, including communication and relationship management.
- Support donor engagement for 3DEN-related activities, including preparation of materials and project reporting.
- Support the development and engagement to develop the 3DEN Community, including supporting the 3DEN matchmaking and knowledge management platform.
- Support in the development of new project concepts and drafting of proposals.
- Support fundraising and strategic donor mapping and engagement.
- Support data collection, analysis and reporting.
- Support the Unit Head in hiring activities, including coordinating with the Admin. team, coordinating interviews, shortlisting candidates and supporting the onboarding of new consultants and interns.
- Manage the 3DEN LinkedIn page, community growth, and monthly communications reporting.
- Support online community building, stakeholder identification, and newsletter distribution across the 3DEN network.
- Provide day-to-day communications support to the Branch Communications Specialist, including audience monitoring and content coordination.
- Support strategic identification of engagement opportunities, including relevant conversations, partner content amplification, and network connections.
Required Experience
Prior experience working with UN agencies with a focus on climate change and finance are desirable.
Qualifications
Master’s degree (M.A. or equivalent) in Communication, Environmental Policy, Economics, Political Science, Business Administration, Development, or a related field.
