Overview

Develop a resource mobilization strategy for humanitarian transition and beyond in Cameroon's Far-North Region, focusing on local actors and sustainable relief efforts.


Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and map national operational actors at decentralized levels
  • Analyze potential funding and partnership opportunities
  • Develop a structured, actionable, and context-specific resource mobilization strategy
  • Produce a comprehensive and up-to-date mapping of national organizations by reachable and secure municipalities
  • Create a stakeholder database and partnership analysis
  • Conduct a detailed assessment of funding opportunities and mechanisms
  • Formulate a clear, realistic, and context-adapted resource mobilization strategy
  • Deliver a practical action plan aligned with humanitarian transition priorities
Required Experience
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of proven experience in resource mobilization and strategic planning, including at least five (5) years within humanitarian and/or development programming is required.
  • Proven experience in fragile or crisis-affected contexts is required.
  • Strong knowledge of the Cameroon context or similar settings is required.
Qualifications
  • An advanced university degree (master's or equivalent) in international development, economics, project management, or related field is required.
  • A first-level university degree, combined with two (2) additional years of qualifying experience, may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.

Languages Required
• Fluency in oral and written French is required. • Knowledge of English is required.
Languages Preferred
• Working knowledge of any other UN language is desirable.
