Overview
Develop a resource mobilization strategy for humanitarian transition and beyond in Cameroon's North-West and South-West regions. The role supports the transition to a localized, government-led humanitarian model.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and map national operational actors at decentralized levels
- Analyze potential funding and partnership opportunities
- Develop a structured, actionable, and context-specific resource mobilization strategy
- Produce a comprehensive and up-to-date mapping of national organizations (Humanitarian and Development) by reachable (accessible), and secure municipalities (safe areas)
- Create a stakeholder database and partnership analysis
- Conduct a detailed assessment of funding opportunities and mechanisms
- Develop a clear, realistic, and context-adapted resource mobilization strategy
- Produce a practical action plan aligned with humanitarian transition priorities
Required Experience
- A minimum of seven (7) years of proven experience in resource mobilization and strategic planning
- At least five (5) years within humanitarian and/or development programming
- Proven experience in fragile or crisis-affected contexts
- Strong knowledge of the Cameroon context or similar settings
Qualifications
- An advanced university degree (master's or equivalent) in international development, economics, project management, or related field is required.
- A first-level university degree, combined with two (2) additional years of qualifying experience, may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.
