Overview
The Electrical Engineer will support the review of design and construction activities, ensuring projects are on budget and meet quality standards. Activities will be performed remotely, with potential travel to work sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical support in the analysis of Electrical Engineering projects, suggesting adjustments when necessary.
- Technical support in the analysis of Industrial Automation projects, suggesting adjustments when necessary.
- Technical support in monitoring project recipients, providing assistance in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Automation.
- Technical support in reviewing project documents and licensing.
- Technical support in reviewing budgets for Electrical Engineering and Industrial Automation projects, analyzing change requests.
- Technical support in proposing solutions for food storage unit construction.
- Support in project execution to ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and plans.
- Participate in project planning, monitoring, and evaluation meetings.
Required Experience
- Relevant experience includes work in electrical engineering, industrial automation engineering, storage systems engineering, or related fields.
- Work experience in multicultural environments or in United Nations system organizations in developing countries is desirable.
- Experience in development or humanitarian contexts is desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related fields, with 2 years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree (or equivalent) in any of the above or related fields can replace years of experience.
- Recognized professional certification or membership in an electrical engineering association, at national or international level, is desirable.
