Overview

The consultant will support the Ministry of Health to design and develop centralized training information systems for systematic recording, tracking, and management of training for health care workers.


Key Responsibilities
  • - Design and develop centralized training information systems.
  • - Support the systematic recording, tracking, and management of all training conducted for Ministry of Health health care workers, with a particular focus on Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) and related capacity-building initiatives.
Required Experience
  • At least 5 years’ experience covering the following areas in development of open-source web-based information systems is required:
  • Systems analysis and design
  • System architecture and UI/UX design
  • Database design and implementation
  • Coding, testing and debugging
  • Code management and version control
  • Documentation
  • Training and skills transfer Prior experience in developing training information systems is an added advantage. Experience in working and building capacities of governments in the health sector is desirable.
Qualifications

Master`s university degree in software engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computing or any other relevant field
