Overview

The consultant will support the implementation of work related to the efficiency, enhancement, and user experience of the Global Plastics Hub.


Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare optimization and migration of the Global Plastics Hub.
  • Manage OICT’s technical clearance process required for the Global Plastics Hub’s migration.
  • Coordinate and support optimization and migration of the Global Plastics Hub.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the Global Plastics Hub.
  • Support resource mobilization and strategic planning for the Global Plastics Hub.
  • Data analytics for the Global Plastic Hub usage and traffic for 2026.
Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in IT management, computer science, website development and/or management and data analytics is required. Experience in working on the topic of environmental data analytics, knowledge management, particularly on plastic pollution issues is desirable.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a closely related field is required. Master’s degree in a related field is desirable.

Working knowledge of other UN official languages is desirable.
