Overview
Provide technical support to organize and structure large volumes of documentary evidence from institutional and non-institutional sources for the Special Jurisdiction for Peace (SJP).
Key Responsibilities
- Continue the systematic review, verification, and consolidation of case information.
- Refine and apply the agreed coding and classification system.
- Undertake in-depth verification of previously entered data.
- Maintain and update a change log.
- Support the integration and refinement of geospatial and temporal data.
- Consolidate assigned data into a clean and comprehensive dataset.
- Flag complex cases, inconsistencies, or gaps.
- Produce assigned preliminary analytical outputs.
- Provide regular progress updates and contribute to internal technical discussions.
- Attend and actively participate in all in-person and virtual meetings.
Required Experience
- At least 2–3 years of experience in human rights documentation, legal research, or transitional justice.
- Familiarity with database management, documentation review, or information systematization.
- Knowledge of gender-based and sexual violence documentation desirable.
Qualifications
- First-level university degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Sociology, or related disciplines.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Excel or database software.
