Overview
The consultant will contribute to the training and capacity building needs of a project supporting the Government of Bahrain to combat trafficking in persons and strengthen regional cooperation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3 training modules on counter-trafficking for law enforcement officials and the private sector.
- Develop a training programme for interpreters working with victims of trafficking.
- Support the development of e-learning modules on counter-trafficking in English and Arabic.
- Deliver capacity building and awareness raising sessions to government officials and stakeholders.
Required Experience
- Proven expertise in migrant protection and counter-trafficking/addressing transnational organized crime.
- Experience in capacity building and delivering trainings.
- Experience in developing capacity building and training material for stakeholders.
Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, Migration Studies, International Relations and/or Law or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or University degree in the above fields with four years of relevant professional experience.
