Overview
The Programme Implementation Specialist will support the Ministry of Human Rights with the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of the Huqooq–e–Pakistan II project.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of project activities across federal and provincial levels.
- Assist in preparing detailed work plans, activity calendars, and implementation schedules.
- Contribute to stakeholder mapping and contextual research.
- Follow up with relevant focal persons for activity roll-out.
- Provide operational and logistical support for trainings, consultations, and events.
- Assist in organizing and documenting internal planning sessions and team meetings.
- Support the NMRF Executive Body in scheduling sessions and maintaining records.
- Track activity-level progress against the work plan.
- Help prepare tools, guidelines, and activity-specific materials.
- Assist in collecting and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data.
- Draft activity reports, event summaries, and initial inputs for reporting.
- Maintain regular updates with the Program Implementation Expert.
- Monitor implementation activities on the ground to identify risks.
- Maintain a basic risk tracking log.
- Conduct background research and desk reviews on thematic human rights issues.
- Support the drafting of briefing notes, policy summaries, and analytical inputs.
- Help compile documentation on human rights commitments, practices, and implementation gaps.
- Track policy developments and public discourse related to human rights.
- Contribute to the organization and documentation of policy dialogues and consultations.
- Work with the Program Implementation Expert to translate research findings into actionable recommendations.
- Support coordination with TICs for development and maintenance of digital databases.
Required Experience
- 7 years of experience
- Work experience at the national and/or international level in the development sector or government institutions.
- Demonstrated track record in supporting organizations/ government through coordination, administration, and implementation support.
- Experience working with the UN or other international development organization is an asset.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Management Sciences, International Relations, Public Policy, Human Rights, Public Administration, Law, Arts, Social Sciences, or any relevant field
