The Programme Management Officer will participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of assigned programmes/projects, monitor their progress, and identify issues and propose solutions. The role involves researching and analyzing information, assisting in policy development, and preparing written outputs.
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in project or programme management, administration or related area is required. At least two years of experience in programme management in mine action, security sector reform, stabilization or humanitarian response is required. A minimum of two years of experience in mine action or in a peace operation in a conflict or post-conflict setting is desirable. Experience in budget and financial management is desirable.
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics or a related field. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
