Overview
Ensure the linguistic accuracy, consistency, and readability of the Turkish adaptation of the WHO iSupport programme, delivering a publication-ready Turkish version of the iSupport manual.
Key Responsibilities
- review the full Turkish translation for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy;
- improve readability, flow and clarity while preserving the original meaning;
- identify and correct inconsistencies, repetitions and structural issues;
- ensure the text is culturally appropriate and non-stigmatizing;
- coordinate with the technical team to resolve terminology queries where necessary;
- track revisions and provide a clean, finalized version of the document;
- deliver the fully proofread document within the agreed timeline.
Required Experience
- proven experience in proofreading, editing or translation review in Turkish;
- experience with health, medical or technical content is highly desirable;
- experience working with long-form publications is preferred.
