Overview
The role involves conducting a final evaluation of the "Gender Equality for Georgia" (GE4G) project, assessing its progress, results, and challenges. The evaluation aims to contribute to evidence-based strategies for women's empowerment and gender equality in Georgia.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the International Consultant/Evaluator in drafting Inception Reports, including refined scope, detailed outline of designs and methodologies, evaluation questions, criteria, evaluation matrix, and work plan.
- Provide background and insights into the local context, legislation, policy framework, and stakeholder landscape to the International Consultant/Evaluator.
- Support the International Consultant/Evaluator in conducting interviews with key stakeholders to collect and analyze data.
- Prepare and finalize Power Point Presentations of preliminary findings.
- Support the International Consultant/Evaluator in the development of Draft Evaluation Reports.
- Support the International Consultant/Evaluator in the finalization of the Evaluation reports, including Executive Summary, Introduction and Background, Approach and Methodology, Findings, Conclusions, Lessons learnt, Recommendations, and Annexes.
Required Experience
- At least five (5) years with master’s (or seven (7) years in case of bachelor’s degree) of work experience in the field of gender equality, violence against women/domestic violence, women’s empowerment in Georgia.
- At least five (5) years with master’s (or seven (7) years in case of bachelor’s degree) of experience in monitoring and evaluation of projects and programmes.
- Experience in conducting similar evaluations.
Qualifications
- Higher University (at least Master’s) degree in one or more of the following areas: social sciences, gender studies, political science, health, development studies or another related field.
- Alternatively, Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, gender studies, political science, health, development studies or another related field with at least two years of working experience could be considered in lieu of master’s degree.
