Overview

The Information Management Officer serves a dual function, maintaining essential cluster information management systems and strengthening programme coverage analysis, while also providing technical information management and monitoring support to the UNICEF Nutrition Programme.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support core Nutrition Cluster information management functions.
  • Strengthen programme coverage analysis, service rationalization, and gap identification.
  • Support intersectoral data analysis and joint planning processes.
  • Support rolls out and utilization of digital reporting platforms.
  • Provide structured information management and monitoring support to the UNICEF Nutrition Programme.
  • Contribute to documentation, learning, and evidence generation.
Required Experience

At least 2 years of relevant work experience in nutrition, information management, data analysis, monitoring in humanitarian or development contexts, intersectoral analysis, Humanitarian Programme Cycle, cluster or sector coordination mechanisms, or any other related fields.

Qualifications

Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Information Management, Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, Nutrition and any other related fields.

Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language (Somali) is an asset.
